Welcome to the Richmond Family Mile

What

The Richmond Family Mile is a funrun for all ages. This is NOT a race and the intention is to allow the whole family get involved (especially children). There is NO time limit for entrants. Every runner with a bib receives a RUNFEST triangle medal and NIKE Tee shirt at the end.

Old Deer Park (next to Pools on the Park Leisure Centre) Twickenham Road Richmond TW9 2SF PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO PARKING IN POOLS ON THE PARK. For Parking see Richmond Car Parks  

Packet Pick Up

Race packs are NOT posted, you must collect all race packs on the day at the info tent, located in Old Deer Park.

Packet pick up will be open from 1pm to collect your families race number and timing chip. 

The Start/Finish

The start and finish is located towards the back of Old Deer Park. Head to the large race arch 10mins before the race to warm up with our GB athletes.


The Course

The 1 mile course starts and finishes in the same place this year and loops around Old Deer Park in an out and back course.

The Finish

Children running by themselves will be handed back to parents at the end of the finishing shoot once the parent is identified. We ask parents to assist our staff by being patient during this time. No child will be permitted to leave the Safe Zone without their parent/guardian to collect them.

The Festival

The festival is complete with live music, the and the London Pride bar and champagne tent (for the thirsty adults).

Common Questions

Q: Can I run with my child in a pram?

A: Yes! Just please be careful as this course is all on grass

Q: Are there age restrictions?

A: We welcome all ages and abilities but children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult

Q: Can my dog join in the fun?

A: Absolutely!

Q: Can I walk the course?

A: Yes
