Volunteers, we need your help!

Any community event like us cannot happen without the help of volunteers. Volunteer posts vary in time so even if you have a couple of hours to offer we would love to have you!

Roles vary from welcome marshals, course marshals, baggage, waterstation and finish line volunteers.

Please click here or on the icon below and complete the registration form for this year (14th and 15th September). Once completed you will automatically be added to our volunteer list and our external volunteer coordinator will be in touch to provide you with all the info you need. We will allocate you the day and time of your choice.

Our volunteers receive a NIKE technical t-shirt and after your shift we welcome you to the  Volunteer VIP BBQ after-party with free beer, burgers, snacks and soft drinks located next to the music festival at the finish line. Our volunteer after party is your reward for being brilliant! 

You can volunteer on either Saturday 15th September, or Sunday 16th September, or both! 

Volunteer roles include helping with registration, baggage, marshalling, handing out t-shirts/goodybags/medals, de-chipping, information, etc. 

You can choose which time frame suits you best to volunteer during:  

Very Early Morning (6:30am-10:30am)

Early Morning (7:30am - 11:30am)

Morning (8:30am-12:30pm)

Mid-Morning (9:30am-1:30pm)

Late Morning/Afternoon (10/11am-2/3pm)

Afternoon (12pm-5pm)

What happens after I sign up?

Once you have signed up, our volunteer coordinator will be in touch via email to confirm that they have received your application. 

Can I bring a friend?

Of course you can, the more the merrier! However, please encourage them to sign up as well. 

What if I cannot attend?

If you are sadly no longer able to attend, please contact our volunteer coordinator via email as soon as possible so that other arrangements can be made. 

Is food provided?

All event crew will be given snacks at their post and a drink. The event crew/ volunteer tent at the finish festival in Old Deer Park is an opportunity to be rewarded for your kindness, socialist with other volunteers and an all-day BBQ with unlimited snacks and beverages (hot and cold) plus a free pint courtesey of Fuller's. This is your VIP area so help yourself! 

How should I dress?

You will be given a race crew t-shirt to wear. We usually have great weather for our event, however please come prepared for rain just in case and you may want to wear a jumper under your t-shirt as the morning can get a bit nippy!

What do I do if I do not receive my Race Crew confirmation e-mail or phone-call?

What should I bring with me?

Please bring your mobile phone. We highly recommend bringing as few personal items as possible. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.

What if I’m unable to stand for long periods of time?

Please state when you register if you have any disabilities or special requirements and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
